This session will always hold a place near and dear to my heart. Last June I had the opportunity to travel to Stillwater to attend the Jake Anderson Workshop. Once we arrived at the workshop, we spent the day socializing and learning, then we ventured out to a private estate where we did engagement photography for our very first session.
There were large open fields and beautiful trails and lots of ticks. Being a solid thirty-two weeks pregnant, walking from location to location was an adventure in itself. As the sun was setting we spent our time learning from Jake and how he uses his camera, light meter, and film to obtain some seriously dreamy images.
It was an absolute blast and despite being ridiculously sick, pregnant, and tired, I had an amazing time learning and growing alongside fellow photographers. Plus every damn model we photographed and every vendor we collaborated with was the bee’s knees. #forreal
